Product Details

The defining feature is the bolt-on, 4-way entry base. In a busy facility, forklift access isn’t always straightforward — aisles fill up, columns get in the way, and dock orientation doesn’t always work in your favor. Being able to pick up the bin from whichever side is actually accessible saves real time over the course of a shift. The base is also a separate, replaceable component, so if the pallet takes damage, you’re not scrapping the whole container. Swap it and keep going.

When the bins aren’t loaded, they nest. A built-in de-nesting ledge keeps stacked containers from locking together, so one person can pull a bin off the top of a stack without a fight. Add an optional lid and the bins can be stacked when loaded as well, useful when vertical space is at a premium or you need to keep material protected during storage or transit. The interior is flat-bottomed with rounded corners, easy to load, easy to sweep out, and straightforward to clean when you’re switching materials.

Metal recycling operations handling turnings and shavings find these bins particularly useful. Cutting fluid is always part of that equation, and it has to go somewhere. The optional drain holes let oils and fluids drain out rather than sit, and drain plugs let you seal things up when you need to move wet material without making a mess in transit.

All Gorilla 4-Way bins are molded from 100% virgin resin and are FDA and USDA compliant, making them a practical fit for food processing facilities and anyone handling materials with strict contamination requirements. They come standard in several colors and can be customized with lids, drains, welded seams, and custom graphics.

If your operation runs a rotator tipper, the Gorilla 4-Way base is also available in a 4-way entry/2-way rotatable configuration.

FAQs

What is the maximum load capacity of the Gorilla 4-Way Entry bin?
All Gorilla 4-Way Entry nestable bulk container configurations are rated to 2,500 lbs. regardless of height, making these industrial bulk bins suitable for heavy applications including metal parts handling, scrap, and heavy wet material.
Can I pick this container up from all side?
Yes. Four-way entry means a forklift can approach and engage the base of the Gorilla 4-Way Entry combo bin from any of the four sides, not just two. This eliminates the need to reposition the nestable container in tight aisles or staging areas, improving throughput and reducing handling time on the floor.
Can the base be replaced if it gets damaged?
Yes. The Gorilla 4-Way Entry combo bin uses a bolt-on pallet base specifically designed to be field-replaceable. Replacing only the base rather than the entire nestable container significantly reduces total ownership cost over the bulk bin’s lifespan.
Can the Gorilla 4-Way Entry combo bin be used with a bin tipper?

Yes. The Gorilla 4-Way Entry nestable container is compatible with bin tippers for automated dumping. If you need compatibility with a forklift rotator attachment, the Gorilla Rotator is the purpose-built model for that application.
