Sani-box® Sanitary Bulk Handling Solution

The Sani-Box® is a sanitary bulk container built around a single design principle: leave nowhere for contamination to hide. Its one-piece seamless HDPE construction eliminates the sidewall seams, fasteners, and molded crevices found in conventional sanitary bulk boxes — the failure points that resist cleaning regardless of how rigorous the sanitation program is. Microban antimicrobial protection is built into the HDPE material during molding, not applied as a surface coating, providing continuous protection between cleaning cycles. The sloped bottom with drain plug clears residue completely through the plug opening without tilting, tipping, or dumping the container.

For Food Processing Operations

As a food grade bulk container, the Sani-Box® is designed to meet the sanitation demands of HACCP-compliant food processing environments. The 0.500"+ radius corners throughout leave no sharp interior angles where organic material accumulates. Washdown cycles are faster, more repeatable, and more defensible under third-party audit than with standard food grade bulk containers. USDA and FDA compliant.

For Nonferrous Metal Recycling

The Sani-Box® is a durable stackable bulk container that is growing in popularity for nonferrous metal recycling operations that handle aluminum, copper, and other turnings and shavings. The seamless interior leaves no seams or crevices where fine metallic material and cutting fluid can accumulate between loads, and the optional drain plug allows easy removal of cutting oil without tilting or dumping the containers. Double-wall HDPE construction holds up to abrasive loads that degrade thinner single-wall bins over time.

A Stackable Bulk Container Built for Mixed Fleets

At 48"x40"x31" with a 1,500 lb. load capacity and 24 cubic feet of interior volume, the Sani-Box® stacks four-high to a maximum stack capacity of 6,000 lbs. Its open stacking alignment lugs are designed for direct compatibility with MACX 1500 bins, so facilities already running MACX stackable bulk containers can add the Sani-Box® to their fleet without introducing a separate stacking system. The two containers stack together, share forklift pocket configurations, and fit the same rack bays. Three empty containers nest in the space of two. Four-way forklift entry and top lifting eyes standard. Available in standard blue; custom colors available for large orders.

FAQs

What is the difference between the Sani-Box® and the MACX 1500?
Both containers are 48"x40"x31" and stack together, but the Sani-Box® is double-wall construction versus the single-wall MACX 1500. The double-wall build makes the Sani-Box® more rigid and impact-resistant, and its seamless interior and self-draining bottom make it the right choice where sanitation or abrasive material handling is the priority.
What is Microban?

Microban is an antimicrobial protection built into the HDPE material during the molding process — not applied as a surface coating that wears off over time. It continuously inhibits the growth of odor and stain-causing bacteria between cleaning cycles, complementing your regular sanitation program rather than replacing it.

Can I stack the Sani-Box without a lid?
Yes, the Sani-Box can be stacked without a lid.
