Corrugated Metal Bins

These industrial storage containers handle the kind of material manufacturing floors generate every day. Castings and forgings coming off a line, machined parts waiting for the next operation, fasteners and small parts bulk storage, and general heavy parts handling between work cells. If your team isn’t reaching into the bin by hand throughout the day, a standard steel storage bin is usually all you need.

Every corrugated steel container in this lineup holds 4,000 pounds and stacks five high when fully loaded, with steel corner posts and stacking feet carrying the weight instead of crushing the bin underneath. Forklift entry is 4-way, so your operators aren’t stuck lining up on one side to grab a bulk container. These heavy-duty steel bins are made to order in the USA in 11 interior footprints, in your choice of blue, green, teal, or black, with raw unpainted steel available on request.

The standard configuration is the only one of the three that comes in an 18 inch interior height, in addition to the standard 24 inch. Dense material gets heavy fast, and a deep stackable steel bin can hit the 4,000 pound limit before it even looks full. Plants running heavier parts often spec the shorter bin for that reason. Standard bins are also the only configuration that takes lifting lugs, sometimes called hoisting hooks, for crane and hoist handling. Lifting lugs aren’t offered on the drop gate or hopper front bins, so if your facility moves material overhead instead of on the floor, this is the metal storage bin to spec.

These bulk steel containers can also be fitted with fork tubes or fork stirrups for forklift handling, angle runners or skid bars for rack and floor storage, card holders, custom stenciling, and inside leg caps for added strength on bins that see rough use.
